MINIATURE HORSE SALE
Sale Date: Saturday November 1, 2008 - 11:00 A.M.

Consignors hereby agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions of entry to the 2008 Southern Miniature Horse Confederation sale.
1. Entries must be postmarked by September 15, 2008. NO late entries will be accepted.
2. Consignor shall pay $100.00 per entry. The entry fee is not REFUNDABLE, but the entry may be substituted.
3. All entries must be checked in at the sale office no later than 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 1, 2008. Facility will be opened Friday night for those needing to stall horses. Purchased animals will need to leave the facility by closing time of the facility Saturday night.
4. Consignor hereby specifically warrants unto Southern Miniature Horse Confederation and to any subsequent purchaser that all information furnished with this entry is true and correct.
5. For each horse presented at sale, the Consignor shall provide (a) a satisfactory, official Veterinary health certificate in compliance with regulations in the state of Mississippi and of sale dated within one month of sale date, and (b) a current negative Coggins test certificate drawn within 1 year of the sale date. DO NOT MAIL COGGINS AND HEALTH CERTIFICATE WITH ORIGINAL PAPERS. BRING THESE WITH YOU THE DAY OF THE SALE.
6. For a broodmare, Consignor shall provide a veterinary certificate based upon rectal palpation or ultrasound within 14 days, if applicable, stating the condition of the mare and the status of the pregnancy including last breeding date and present a breeders certificate. She will then be presented as a mare in foal. Otherwise, she will be presented as a mare exposed to stated stallion.
7. The Sale Management encourages Consignors to present the horse well nourished, conditioned, and fitted for a sale. The horse must be free of contagious disease, known lameness, and drug-free unless Consignor declares such as a supplemental condition. Sales Management reserves the right in its absolute discretion to reject any horse, which it determines as unfit, unstable for sale, or which is inhumanly treated and in such event Consignor forfeits the entry fee.
8. Sales Management reserves the right in its sole judgement and discretion the order of sale of all entries and to assign stabling of all entries. All sales taking place at the facility must go through the SMHC cashier.
9. Consignor (or designated reprehensive) has sole responsibility for handling, safety, welfare, and humane treatment of the horse until it has been accepted by the Purchaser.
10. The Southern Miniature Horse Confederation will settle with Consignor for horses sold not later than 15 banking days from the day of the sale in order to enable clearing of funds, completion of accounts, administration and the like. If cash (not a check) is used to purchase a horse, papers will be issued to the new owner the day of the sale.
11. Cash, money order or personal check must be used to pay for all animals purchased at the sale. Registration papers will be held until the check clears the bank. (About 2 weeks)
12. If a horse is pulled on the first round and owner wants to run the horse through again, he has to go behind the last horse registered for Auction, with no P.O. allowed, "must sell the horse".
13. Each horse offered in this sale will be sold "AS IS" with all faults, conditions and defects, if any. No horse will be sold with dwarf characteristics.
14. Announcements during the sale take precedence over any printed material.
15. Donkey consignment fee is $50.00 by Sept. 15, 2008. Donkeys will be sold through out the Miniature Horse Sale. Negative Coggins and 1 month health certificate is required on all donkeys.
